Reporting a problem

Accessibility problems are usually specific to one document, so a good report saves a round trip. Please include:

  • your InDesign version and operating system;
  • what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
  • the conformance report if the question is about a failed validation — it names the clause and the pages;
  • the panel log if something went wrong in the panel (open “Log” at the bottom of the panel and use “copy”);
  • roughly how large the document is — number of pages, and whether it contains many images or tables.

Please do not send confidential documents unasked. In most cases the report and the log are enough. If we do need to see a file, we will ask, and we will tell you how to send it and when it will be deleted.

After a crash

If InDesign crashed while you were using the plugin, reopen the panel first: TagAlly records what it was doing before each risky operation, so it can tell you at startup which step was running. That line is the single most useful thing you can send us.

Where to buy TagAlly Pro

TagAlly Pro costs 199 euros per year and per seat and is sold exclusively through the Adobe Creative Cloud Marketplace. There you buy it, receive your invoice and manage the licence.

Because the marketplace concludes the purchase in its own name, invoices and refunds go through that channel, not through us. Everything about the software itself — questions, problems, feature requests — comes to us directly.

Suggest a feature

Requests are welcome and several of them are already in the product. The most useful ones describe the situation rather than the solution: what you were trying to do, what got in the way, and how often it happens.
